Batty about it

The whole point of this outfit post is to show you this bat locket. Bats! A full moon! Spooky clouds! I spent a pretty penny on it but it was worth it. Happy Halloween! What is your favorite Halloween candy? I am a Baby Ruth girl.

P.S. I bought my first tube of lipstick a couple weeks ago (wearing it here!) I am 31-years-old. Yup. A late make-up bloomer. Thanks to Maria of Adelaide's Homesewn for the encouragement.

i didn't own any lipstick either! but clinique's chubby stick in cherry and fresh sugar lip colors were the perfect transition for me... goes on like a chapstick and leaves just the right amount of color! hooray for grown-up lipstick gals.

Subtle lip shade — quite nice. If you're like me, your first one is a natural shade and you get progressively wilder after that....but true, your style is different from mine! You look beautiful. Love the duds. As for sweets, my treat of choice is Twix. I wonder if they sell those here....hmmm gotta go....haha. xoxoxoxo

That locket is bonkers amazing! What a special piece! I bet it was worth the pretty penny.

Wow, I can't believe you've gotten to 31 without owning lippie lol. I couldn't imagine not wearing lippie, it's the perfect 'Oh my face looks a little pale' pick me up.

So cute. That is truly one of the most brilliant lockets I've seen in years. Cheers to the lipstick, and to finding the perfect shade. Lovely as always.

I'm almost 32 and don't use or own lipstick. You aren't alone! I LOVE this bat necklace. Is it for the shop?
