This is what bakelite heaven looks like

My friend Amber has an absolutely amazing collection of bakelite jewelry. Just look at those colors! Those towers of bangles! I think the best part off Amber's collection is that she actually wears the jewelry - it's a part of her every day life. That is super inspiring to me. Can you guess what the most valuable piece is here?

I love bakelite! That is an amazing collection. The fact that those pieces get worn on a daily basis makes me happy. I have no clue what the most valuable piece is!

Wow, just wow! I'm so glad she wears them all!

I'm curious about that jewel encrusted bangle, and I know the ones with wood are special; and you've placed that clear green one prominently in your photo. And the swordfish/marlin is to die for!!

I couldn't guess between those as to which might be most valuable. Am I close? ;o)

What an absolutely enviable collection! I go to Rose Bowl Flea Market and there is a Bakelite booth that always has me drooling.

Gorgeous collection! That scotty dog brooch is adorable but I'm guessing it's probably not the most valuable. :)

Yowser! That's a fantastic collection! I love that black bangle with the yellow roses, though that rose necklace is probably the most valuable, I'll go with as a guess.

Great guesses everyone! The most valuable piece is actually the apple-juice colored bangle with the reverse-carved flowers. Beautiful, isn't it?
