Shop update: Blue, gold and roses

These pieces are all new in the shop today. Photos aren't linked up yet (no time for image mapping this afternoon, folks - I apologize!) but you can find them all right at the top of the shop. How sweet is the BEE TO HONEY ring? I usually don't stock adjustable rings but I made an exception for this one.

I ♥ vintage metal necklaces

These four necklaces are new in the shop! Every lady should have a few cast metal necklaces in her jewelry box, I think. They are bold and simple and they go with just about everything, from a printed blouse to a t-shirt to a cocktail dress. Just hover over the necklace to grab the listing link.

Shop week in review

Lots of black, white, gold and silver ✦ in the shop this week ✦ Is it a bit grim to pile so much black in the shop in the middle of winter? Mehh, I don't know. I think it is quite pretty. And hearts are timely, non? To those of you who disagree, I promise some colors in the coming days!

Sammy Davis Vintage 100 Best Vintage Shops: Jean Jean Vintage!

I'm thrilled to be included in the new ebook, "The 100 Best Vintage Shops Online" just published by Sammy Davis Vintage. There is a huuuuugge need for a resource like this since the market for online vintage is so flooded. Wondering where to go for the best vintage shoes? The best pre-1930s garments? This is a great reference. Think of "100 Best" as a modern-day yellow pages, with quick links to blogs, shops and social media accounts for all the shops. Ebay, Etsy and independent retailers are all represented. I love having my copy (only $3.99!) on my desktop to open whenever I want to do a little browsing. I like knowing that all the shops have been vetted!

Piled up

I piled up a bunch of rings yesterday and they looked so pretty all together that I decided to stock them in the shop all at once. There is a bit of everything coming your way . . . a late 1920s sterling band, a 1930s signet ring, some gorgeous 1940s costume rings, a pretty Mexican sterling and goldstone ring, etc. I aim to have them stocked by 6 PM tonight (that's when Severen's babysitter leaves!)
