Locket ring

This locket ring is absolutely incredible! While I prefer to wear my lockets around my neck, I might make an exception for this 1820s beauty. The tiny compartment once held a lock of hair.

This is exactly the type of locket I would wear everyday. You know, If I could wear jewelry in the kitchen every day : (

Oh, I love those antique locket rings! I've never been fortunate enough to find one in person or afford one online, but I sure hope to own one someday! Especially one of those rings with a little glass compartment on the underside instead of a piece on top! Just beautiful!

This is so beautiful! Do you know the 'Art of Mourning' Facebook page? They look at some lovely jewellery there.

Yes Emily, I do follow that group on Facebook and reference them frequently! (ex: http://jeanjeanvintage.blogspot.com/2011/12/bird-sarcophagus.html). Thank you for the thoughtful tip!
