My winnings

It was a good weekend of hunting for Jean Jean Vintage! This is about half of what I came home with. You'll see the bracelets and many of the goldtone earrings in the shop this week. They will complement the four necklaces (top row!) that I stocked today. I'm having a retro/tailored moment and really loving bigger, bolder, golder (is that a word?!) pieces. Is it my short haircut that makes me want more modern statement accessories? Who knows - I'm going with it. 

One of these, s'il vous plaît

These thin wood pendant necklaces from snugstudio are so attractive. The colors remind me of the Southwest (stucco houses, aloe plants) and the wood looks crisp like a cracker! I also like how the necklaces are packaged against a backing that looks like graph paper.

"Very old"

This tag was on one of the necklaces I bought on my buying trip with Lauren of Dear Golden Vintage last week. I thought you would appreciate its vagueness, as I did. Can't you just picture a sweet lady carefully penning that label? In this case, "very old" means 1930s.

Going for broke
