My dresser

Moving back into our house gave me the opportunity to rethink my jewelry organization. I decided that I really want to be able to see my jewelry all the time. It's so beautiful, why not make it part of the decor? That means no more tiny boxes and tins hiding everything away. Now most of my necklaces are hanging and my big jewelry box is open and tidy - for now! My grandparents and my dad are also out where I can see them every day.

Beautiful! Reminds me a little bit of my dresser area--only with much more beautiful jewelry. My favorite things are that dark, smaller plaque-thingy on the right your necklaces are hanging from, and the family photos.

I can't lie to you here, this post is a LITTLE bit cruel. I mean, the ring collection? the jeweled bar pin collection? You're the girl with the biggest candy box!

I see so many things I want in your jewelry box! I love how everything is open and on display. At one time I had my jewelry all displayed in my antique medical cabinet, but my collection was not quite as impressive!

LOOK how much you resemble your Grandmother! Wonderful! We have a little "salon" in our home of framed photos of 3 generations of our ancestors. We have so enjoyed finding our children's faces in these portraits as the years went by. Belated congrats on the "wee one"; you are glowing! And as far as that amazing collection of jewelry, I say.... keep on keepin' the good stuff!

I already saw those cute birds yesterday and immediately fell in love with them!

Your collection leaves mine for dead any day Duff! Actually, my art deco jewellery obsession I whole heartedly attribute to you. But it would be awesome if you could see it in person one day anyway. You really should come and visit Australia :)

I'm on a mission to emulate your dresser now pronto(my only concern I have about leaving jewellery out is I always worry someone will break in and take it all in one fell swoop. Do you think that's paranoid?)
