Do you need a stamp?

Remember when I talked about my love for little stamp cases a while back? Well, I found one! Granted, it's not shaped like a letter - but antiquers can't be choosers. Now I need to find reasons to use stamps in public so that I can show it off. Or maybe I just randomly start asking people if they need stamps? Could be a good conversation starter in those long post office lines. I could also make it part of my personal introduction: Nice to meet you. My name is Emily but you can call me Duff. I have a stamp case!

If my stamps were that fancy I would ditch email altogether and get back to the lost art of written correspondence! :)

adorable!!! it's so sad that they don't make things like this anymore, but so great that you found one to hang onto forever!

Suddenly I need a stamp case! Now that I know they exist.... I have a big stamp collection that I use in my artwork, and also because I love the huge piles of colored bits of paper. They have such history.

Perhaps you should just carry around your favorite vintage stamps. Such a lovely find you've made!

I'm off to start looking for a stamp case pronto!

how neat! I love the mental image of you walking around the post office asking people if they need stamps :) They could employ you to keep people entertained while they wait!

In the approach to Christmas, I imagine many people at the post office will be only too happy to receive a stamp for their cards! That one is much cuter than mine, though mine is shaped like an envelope!
